Health Talents International

History

Health Talents International(HTI) was founded in 1973. Since that time HTI has grown into a God glorifying organization of Christians both from North America and Central America who work together to provide compassionate medical care and education in the name of Christ Jesus.

Upon the celebration of HTI's 40th Anniversary in 2013, Marie Bryant Agee, long time HTI staff and supporter published a complete history of HTI in her book "Mud On Your Own Boots".
"Mud On Your Own Boots" is the inspirational story of one man’s vision that grew into a lasting ministry. Dr. Robert Clark dreamed of becoming a medical evangelist but discovered early on that no such training was available, so he set out to provide it. In the process he created a ministry that combined compassionate medical care and evangelism in such a way that brought Christ into the lives of thousands of people. His first full time mission effort was short lived, but the dream lived on. Four decades later,Health Talents celebrates its 40th anniversary of medical evangelism ministry that now even includes surgical missions. This is a story of vision, faith and perseverance and what can happen when those attributes are paired with willing hearts. Everybody wins... both those who need help and those who take it to them.
